WE'RE ENGAGED

After 5 years of dating, Tanner asked me to marry him cliff-side on the Oregon coast (which couldn't have been more romantic)! After it happened I couldn't stop crying, I was in complete shock. Tanner's mom even yelled "we're getting married!" to a few strangers after it happened which was hilarious. I think we were all slighly high on adrenaline after it happened. Tanner is my best friend and I couldn't be more fortunate to have him as my life partner, so when he asked me to marry him it was the easiest decision I ever made, YES!

The day leading up to the engagement was mellow, we hung around the house with his parents and went for a family walk on the beach. It was funny because I kind of had an inkling that Tanner would ask that day but when it didn't happen on our beach walk I sort of gave up the idea for the day. Little did I know that after I changed into my scrubby hiking clothes and washed all my makeup off, he was going to ask me that same day on our hike above the ocean.
